1 Hobby amounts? Flush it.

In normal quantities the solution can go down the drain. Please check your local regulations.

2 Zero-footprint option

Precipitate the dissolved VXL with pool pH-minus, filter it out, and dispose of the solids with household waste.

3 Rebalance the pH

After filtering, a spoonful of washing soda brings the water back up. Case closed.
