A 725-acre LED conversion for Associated British Ports, delivered in two phases. Lanterns made in Ware. Lantern carriages made in Cleckheaton. FL800R road luminaires and P855 area luminaires across the live port, with CU Phosco as main contractor.

From a railway arch, upwards.

Charles Marques, an Australian Gallipoli veteran, founded the company in 1923 under the railway arches at Broxbourne. The Marques family still runs it today. Six moments. Six masts. Scroll to walk the timeline.

Designed, cast, welded, finished, dispatched. Across three British works.

Great Amwell in Ware (Hertfordshire) for column and design engineering. Coleford in the Forest of Dean for lanterns. Cleckheaton in West Yorkshire for high mast manufacture. End-to-end in the UK. Made from 100% recyclable or reusable materials.

It is the only way we know how to put our name on a high mast and stand behind it for the next forty years.
